General

What is this service? A managed hosting platform for services such as TeamTalk, Miniflux and Joplin. We handle infrastructure; you manage your instances.

What do I need to get started? A web browser and an account. We provide the servers.

Billing

How much does it cost? $5.00/month per instance, billed hourly (~$0.00685/hour).

How do I add credits? Use Stripe or PayPal from the Billing page. Minimum $5.

When am I charged? While an instance is running. Billing stops when you delete it.

Do credits expire? No.

Can I get a refund? Unused credits purchased within 7 days are eligible for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

Managing Instances

How do I create an instance? Log in, click Create Instance, select a service type and location, configure options, and click Create.

How do I restart an instance? From your instances list, click Restart. Takes 5-10 seconds.

How do I delete an instance? From your instances list, click Delete. This is permanent and stops billing.

Can I change settings after creation? Not yet. Delete and recreate with new settings.

Can I have multiple instances? Yes. Each is billed separately.

TeamTalk

What ports does TeamTalk use? TCP and UDP on the same port (default 10333). Use the port shown after creation.

How many users can connect? Configurable at creation (1-1000).

What security options are available? User timeout, login delay, max login attempts, and max logins per IP.

Account

How do I change my password? Settings → Change Password.

Can I change my username? No. Create a new account if needed.

I forgot my password. Email support@braillescreen.org with your username.

How do I delete my account? Go to Settings → Data Management → Delete My Account. You must first stop or delete any running services. All instances are deleted immediately; personal data is removed; remaining credits are forfeited. Consider exporting your data and requesting a refund for unused credits first.

How do I export my data? Go to Settings → Data Management → Export My Data (JSON). This downloads all your account information, service instances, transactions, and event history.
